As the game progresses, players can freely explore the house and talk to anyone, or examine the room. Time passes as the player progresses through a character's route, with dialogues changing every hour to create the feeling of a real party. To reach the climax of a character's route, players must find them in the crowd and talk to them, just like at a party.
